Ramsbottom & Edenfield Team Ministry - RETM

Welcome to pour Team Churches, which is well known as the Ramsbottom & Edenfield Team Ministry.

It is made up  of four parishes and four church buildings; Edenfield, St Andrew's St Paul's and St Philip's, which have a variety of traditions but seek to work together alongside other Christians in our town, to share the good news of Jesus, and to show his love to all.

We are fortunate to have the Rev Ian Fleming as Team Rector, ably supported by the Rev Lesley Stear as our Curate.

‘Church is not an organisation that you join,

it is a family where you belong

and a home where you are loved

and a hospital where you find healing…’

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Team Safeguarding Officer: Sheena Ruston –
email: [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor: Abbey Clephane-Wilson
Email: [email protected] Telephone: 0161 828 1465 / 07384 460958.
The Diocese of Manchester partners with thirtyone:eight and you can access their Safeguarding Helpline if the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser is unavailable. Thirtyone:eight can be contacted on 0303 003 1111.
