About Us
St Oswalds is a Church of England Church on the outskirts of Liverpool, in Netherton. We're a busy church with lots of community activities and groups, as well as close links to St Oswald's C. of E. Primary School next door to the church. We believe that there is a God with whom we can have a relationship through his Son Jesus Christ, and that God is active in the world today by the Holy Spirit. We're seeking both to grow in our relationship with God and to join in with the work of the Spirit. Our strapline is... 'sharing the warmth of God's love with all people,' and we want to make a real difference to the community of Netherton in which we are based.
Our building is fully accessible for all, with level access for wheelchairs and buggies from both the pavement at the front and from the car park. We have a loop system for those with listening aids. We also do have disabled toilet facilities. We look forward to welcoming you to St Oswald's Church Centre.
St Helens, Sefton is one of the oldest Christian sites on Merseyside and is the only Grade I listed building in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton.
Today Sefton continues to be a living centre of Christian worship and we aim to be an inclusive church where everyone can feel respected and at home. A warm welcome awaits you and we hope that our website will encourage you to come and visit us soon .
