Benefice of Haughmond and Wrekin

The Benefice of Haughmond and Wrekin is a group of twelve parishes. The benefice takes its name from two hills in the area, Haughmond Hill near Shrewsbury to the west, and The Wrekin near Telford to the east.  Eleven of the twelve parishes are centred on rural villages with the other parish also centred on a rural village but including three large suburban neighbouring villages to the north-west of Telford.

We offer a mixture of traditional and inherited church, alongside more contemporary fresh expressions of church (including Messy Church, Forest Church, Praise & Play and Youth Café). We are passionate about making Jesus known and growing in our faith.
