About Us

We are a team of ten Churches in eight parishes, set in what has to be some of England's finest countryside. The Team covers the villages of Burston, Fradswell, Gayton, Hixon, Hopton, Milwich, Salt, Sandon, Stowe by Chartley and Weston. The Benefice lies in Staffordshire, with the edges of our Parish boundary lying in the county town of Stafford itself.

We are members of Church of England and part of the Diocese of Lichfield. Sunday services are held regularly in all of our churches, details of which may be found by selecting a church you would like to visit, and clicking on "Services Across Mid-Trent Team". Most of our services are Holy Communion, with occasional Breakfast Services, Service of the Word (non-communion) and even Songs of Praise. Most churches offer no alcohol wine and gluten free wafers at communion. All our church officials hold current DBS certificates.

Come, Holy Spirit: fill the hearts of your faithful people and kindle in us the fire of your love.

Strengthen your church here in Mid-Trent: increase our numbers, deepen our faith and pour out your love, through us, on our communities.

We ask these things in Jesus’ name.
