King's Norton: St John the Baptist
Welcome to our church of St John the Baptist in the small Leicestershire village of King's Norton. We are part of the Gaulby Group and the Launde Deanery Minster Community. Our church was built in a Gothic Revival style and dates back to 1760, and is said to be perhaps the most beautiful church in the midlands region and one of the finest parish churches in the whole of the England.
Repair work is being undertaken on our tower so that unfortunately the church is temporarily closed for Health and Safety reasons.

We are part of the Gaulby Group of 4 churches and the Launde Deanery Minster Community. Despite its small size, Gaulby has a strong sense of community and there are a number of local events and activities that take place throughout the year. Gaulby is a charming and picturesque village that offers a peaceful and idyllic way of life.
