The Gaulby Group

We are a community of four villages, four ancient churches and about 400 people in rural SE Leicestershire.  We have two amenities - a pub and a village hall - but lots of friendly neighbours.

There are a number of social groups within the group; for example: a thriving Women's Institute, a Book Club, the Gaulby Strollers and the Pub in the church at Gaulby, once a month.

We have recently completed the re-ordering of St Peter's in Gaulby so it now serves the community seven days a week.

Sadly, due to structural problems, the churches at Kings Norton and Little Stretton are currently out of use until essential repairs have been carried out.

Safeguarding

"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [details are in the porch of each church]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
