Wormelow Hundred Benefice

We are a group of six churches to the south of Hereford city. We cover a large area and have some beautiful churches that we try to keep open during daylight hours. Each church has its own unique features, such as the Pye family monument in Much Dewchurch, that are well worth visiting. We are also very supportive of Dewsall Court, our local wedding venue, and help them with marriage and wedding blessing services at St. Michael and All Angels, Dewsall.

Across our benefice have two closed churches - St. Mary's, Callow and St. John the Baptist, Llanwarne - which are also worth visiting.

You can find where services are taking place across our Benefice by looking at our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Wormelow-Hundred-Benefice-Info-Page-269543198348

Revd Mark also has pastoral responsibility for the South Wye Rural Benefice, covering Little Dewchurch, Dinedor and Holme Lacy.

Safeguarding

"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Benefice Safeguarding Officer (BSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the vicar or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - Mandy McPhee. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
