Middle Marches

The Middle Marches....the middle part of the Welsh Marches...where England and Wales meet.  Our Benefice of 7 churches stretches from Llanfair Waterdine on the Welsh border, NW of Knighton, to Clungunford 22 miles away.  The route from one end of the Benefice to the other zig-zags from church to church though the beautiful Red Lake Valley to the far end of the  Clun Valley.  

We are currently in a vacancy period but being fully supported by deputising priests for our regular services of Holy Communion

We are in the Clun Forest Deanery which is part of the Diocese of Hereford.

Holy Communion will be led by Bishop John Davies the former Archbishop of Wales. Bishop John is a fine speaker and deserves a large congregation at such an important service.
