On Tuesday 7th May, Bishop Rachel paid a visit to St John's Gardening Club.  She met and talked with children who were raking grass for the compost, planting out pea plants, and picking peas, salad and broccoli in the polytunnel.  She also had a tour of the orchard and was shown the fairy garden!  Then inside for the all important tasting the fruits of their labour, followed by a slideshow showing all the progress made in repairing and restoring the deep beds and clearing all the weeds since September.  

Bishop Rachel said to the children, "God is always making and remaking, repairing and restoring - and you have been joining in".
