About Us

We are a Mission Community in Mid Devon on the edge of Exeter Diocese, and comprises six diverse parishes, ranging from very rural, semi industrial to almost suburban. A key aspect of our community is our five schools, of which four are Church of England primary schools; the highest number in any Mission Community in Exeter Diocese. We deeply value our connections with all of them.

The nearest towns are Tiverton to the west and Wellington, in Somerset, to the east. We are close to the M5 (Junction 27), with Exeter and Taunton about 15 miles away. The M5 provides excellent access both to the South West, Bristol and beyond. Sampford Peverell boasts Tiverton Parkway railway station, offering direct access to London. The Grand Western Canal, which runs through part of our Mission Community, is popular with walkers and cyclists as well as being a haven for wildlife.
