Dear Mara Group I have just heard from Tupone Mwamasage, the Head of School. She has talked with Angel who has decided that after Form 4 she would like to go on into Forms 5 & 6 (equivalent of A level). So can we please continue to support her. She is doing well academically. Tupone also thanks us for the extra donation we made to the school in January. I am forwarding to you 3 recent pictures of Angel. I’m still waiting for recent pictures of the Safe House and the Bible College. Blessings to all at Anglesey. Roger

On the evening of Friday 19 April, in Holy Trinity church in Bottisham, people from the five villages of the Anglesey Group welcomed our new vicar, Rev’d Canon Malcolm Eric (Max) Osborne. Max was officially installed and inducted by Bishop Dagmar, Bishop of Huntingdon and acting Bishop of Ely, in a service that included age-old symbolism – receiving the church key, ringing a bell in the belfry – and informal greetings from people representing organisations throughout our parishes. The church was full, the choir sang joyfully, and over 100 people made their way after the service to the Sports and Social Club for refreshments and to make use of the bar. Max’s friends and family had travelled from previous parishes and elsewhere to support him. It was a very convivial event which gives us much to look forward to as we get to know Max, Angie and family. Thanks are due to everyone involved in planning and arranging the service and reception – a huge team effort, made easier as we have got used to working together during the vacancy.
