St George's Church, Middleton St George

St George & St Laurence's Church is a lively and welcoming Anglican church in the Diocese of Durham. Our regular weekly services are held at the village school - St George's CE Academy, Neasham Road, Middleton St George.

The ancient parish church of St George is used on various occasions during the year, and for baptisms, weddings and funerals.

Welcome to St George & St Laurence's Church in Middleton St George!

We are a lively and welcoming Church of England parish church in the Diocese of Durham. We are seeking to know God’s love in Jesus Christ and to share God’s love with those around us. Our regular Sunday worship is held every week at the village school, St George's Church of England Academy, on Neasham Road. Currently, the services start at 10am every Sunday, but from May 2025, the time will be changing to 9.15am.

Special and occasional services are held in the ancient church of St George, Low Middleton.

As part of the Riverside Parishes, we are linked with the churches of All Saints, Hurworth, All Saints, Girsby (Sockburn), and St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale.
