Walbrook Epiphany

The Parish of Walbrook Epiphany comprises St Augustine's Church and The St Thomas' Community, and covers much of the geographical areas of New Normanton, Rose Hill, Pear Tree and Arboretum in the inner city of Derby.  The parish is a rich mix of different ethnicities, faiths, culture and language, and welcomes many refugees, asylum seekers and new people groups moving to the UK.

Our Vision is shaped by God's character as described in Psalm 68:5&6, and so our mission is to make known the God who fathers the fatherless, defends the vulnerable, puts the lonely and desolate in a family, and sets people free.

Community Carol Singing

This Christmas season, we invite you to join us for a celebration of Christ’s birth through joyful carol singing. Let us come together as a community to lift our voices in praise and reflection, sharing the joy and hope that the Savior brings.

Everyone is welcome to this special evening, where we will sing hymns and carols that tell the story of God's love. After the singing, stay for mince pies and warm drinks as we continue to fellowship in the spirit of Christ's love.

Join us for a special evening of carols, candles, and reflection as we celebrate the birth of Christ in a service for all ages. Together, we’ll sing beloved Christmas carols and enjoy the glow of candlelight, symbolizing the Light of the World coming to us in Jesus.

Archdeacon Matthew will share a short Christmas message, reminding us of the true meaning of the season. This is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, and the whole community to come together in worship and joy.
