Hope, Castleton and Bradwell

Hope, Castleton and Bradwell benefice serves the three villages of Hope, Castleton and Bradwell, and surrounding hamlets. Throughout the month we have a pattern of shared benefice services and events, and events of services for each individual church. We are always delighted to welcome tourists and visitors, and hope you will feel at home with us.

Please visit the pages for each individual church for events and news relating particularly to one church only.

Safeguarding

"Our Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and our three parishes share a benefice Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Mr John Loveless, [email protected] or Rev'd Louise Petheram, [email protected] 01433 621918] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
