Peak Five

Welcome to the Peak Five Benefice.

In the beautiful Derbyshire Peak Park, five villages form the Peak Five Benefice. St Mary's in Tissington, St Leonard's in Thorpe, St Michael and all Angels in Alsop en le dale, St Peters in Parwich and St Edmund's in Fenny Bentley. All the churches are open for private prayer all day, every day, unless there is a funeral or wedding.

The Churches of Peak Five welcome all to worship, irrespective of age or faith commitments. There are normally at least two services every Sunday somewhere within our benefice including a communion service at 11:15. Click on the calendar of any church to see all the services in the Benefice with dates.

Thinking of getting married in church? We'd love to say YES! Click here for an online enquiry form.

All are welcome in these ancient spaces where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO at [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (please call 01332 388678 or complete the Safeguarding Concern Form). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
