WELCOME! If you are reading this parish profile you are interested in our parishes and beautiful South Derbyshire churches, sitting near to Derby city centre and on the outskirts of the Peak District.

We are five mainly rural churches sitting in villages of varying sizes with a united vision of being prayerful communities.

All the churches are within the geographical area of South Derbyshire District Council, south west of Derby City and north east of Burton-on-Trent. 

We are a new Benefice, with St Helen’s Etwall and St Wilfrid’s Egginton  a United benefice for many years  and the three smaller churches were part of the Longford 8 benefice. All are in the Deanery of Dove and Derwent within the Derby diocese.
