Shine is a group for children aged 0-4, their parents and their carers. It takes place on Mondays at St John's Community Centre, Buglawton, and is run by the Parish of Congleton. There are now two sessions:
* 9.30am - 11.00am, and
* 11.30am - 1.00pm.

The group has open play time, crafts, snacks, songs and an optional story time based on a story from the bible. Toys and equipment are designed to help every area of the child's development. There is also a lending library for parents and carers.

There is a suggested donation of £2 per session for each family.

Offering opportunity to discuss different issues of wellbeing and learn more about managing our own wellbeing as well as we can.

A time of Bible Reading, Prayer, Quietness & Music in the lead-up to Christmas.
Led by Lesley Murray & Loretta Grace.

Sing, pray and enjoy some fellowship. It is informal, enjoyable, thought provoking. Sandwiches, Cake and Tea and Coffee are optional (honest).

We celebrate together with a fairly traditional service of readings and carols, and look forward to being joined by local dignitaries, civic representatives and townspeople, and the Beartown Singers.

Come and join us as we sing some old favourites and probably some new ones! (This service will include Communion.)

An opportunity to remember those who will be missing from our celebrations, but who will not be far from our thoughts over Christmas. It is a gentle and comforting service, that has been held for many years.

Come and join us as we hear again the Nativity story, centred around the baby Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem.

Christmas Eve Communion

"Midnight Communion", sometimes called "Midnight Mass", is a tradition in many churches. It usually starts before midnight, which we often reach in time for the sharing of the peace, when we can wish each other a 'Happy Christmas'!

Just as when we celebrate a birthday, and the birthday boy or girl is the centre of attention, today, JESUS is at the heart of our Christmas service.

Just one service today in this quiet week between Christmas and New Year.
