Welcome to Wimbish Church which has been a place of prayer and worship in this community from the early 12th Century. Although located a little way out of the Tye Green hamlet of the village, off Maple Lane, the church is an integral part of village community life. Alongside regular services we hold social activities where church and community members mix freely meeting in St Paul's Mission Hall, Tye Green, or in the church and grounds itself. Festival Services welcome larger numbers from the community to the church along with the pupils from Wimbish School a few times a year.
The parish of Wimbish w Thunderley All Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
