Christ Church, Cockermouth
Christ Church Cockermouth is a group of ordinary people bound together by our love of Jesus and commitment to serve him in Cockermouth and the surrounding area.
Christ Church is a vibrant modern church which enjoys trying new ideas that bring colour and inspiration into our traditional services using sound, video and symbols making services more interactive and involving.
We have a Vision:
Where faith grows we will be …... more inviting of our communities, more connected to each other, more touched by inspired worship and more involving of families and children.
We will develop buildings that provide accessible, comfortable, exciting and reflective places for all to discover God’s love.

Christ Church, Great Broughton
We are an active church, at the heart of the community between Little and Great Broughton. The building dates back to 1856 and is made of local stone.
We have Sunday services and a midweek Communion service on Thursdays.
We also have strong links with our local school, and are ever seeking new ways of engaging with our community. See our news and events pages to keep up with what we are doing, and feel free to join us. You are always most welcome.
