Parish of Upper Deal and Great Mongeham

Welcome to our Parish.  Our priest in charge is Reverend Mother Monica Cameron who joined the parish in September 2021.  She may be contacted via the Parish Office on our contact page.

Our Parish consists of four churches, each with its own unique characteristic:
St Leonards Upper Deal; St Martins Great Mongeham; St Nicholas Sholden and St Richards Mill Hill.  Please look at each church page on this site for specific activities.  Service times are on the Find Us page and in the weekly uploaded What's On? news sheet.

Between the churches we offer a range of service types from BCP Communion to Children's activities.  Any enquiries please contact the office in the first instance.  It is open 9-12am Tuesday to Thursday.

As well as the weekly 'What's On' page uploaded weekly to this site, there is a bi-monthly Compass Magazine with a round-up of what has been happening and events yet to come.

Safeguarding

"Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Amanda Forrest 01304 372521 or 07999 910197] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Michelle Grice on 07398 009951]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
