St Giles Stanton St Quintin
Welcome to the village church of St Giles which is part of the Benefice of Gauzebrook. We are now in vacancy, our previous rector the Rev Adam Beaumont having left us to become Associate Archdeacon for the Bristol Diocese. The Rev Sharon Gleed is our Curate in Charge during the vacancy.
Unfortunately we have been unable to recruit a new rector following the recent advertisement so we will be re-advertising shortly.
Our churchwardens are Nick and Hilary Greene contact [email protected] 01666 837850
The church is open for visitors and private prayer every day from about 8.30am to 5pm.
The Gauzebrook Group website contains details of how to join others online for prayer, worship, study and community life.
Our latest newsletter, the Gauzebrook Gazette, is within the News and Notices section. Gauzebrook Gazettes are available weekly by email and via the Gauzebrook Group website. Please contact our administrator Alison Withers if you would like the Gazette by email.
The parish of Stanton St Quintin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Bristol’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
Our Safeguarding documents can be seen via the links on the left hand side of this page.
The reordering work is now complete and the church looks beautiful. See the news section for more details.
