The need to reduce the number of clergy in the Deanery means that the Camelot Parishes are splitting up and the individual parishes are beginning to work with their neighbouring benefices.

North Cadbury, South Cadbury and Yarlington are working with the parishes of the former Cam Vale benefice under an interim minister, the Revd Caroline Walker.

Bratton St Maur (Bratton Seymour) is working with the parishes of the Bruton benefice under Revd Jonathan Evans.

Holton and North Cheriton are working with the parishes of Horsington, Templecombe and Henstridge to appoint a new incumbent to their new benefice.

Blackford, Compton Pauncefoot and Maperton will be working with the parishes of the Milborne Port/Charlton Horethorne benefice from April.
