Cam Vale Churches

We are a community of six Anglican churches in South Somerset.
We take our name from the River Cam which runs through our area,
situated six miles to the north of Yeovil and Sherborne.
We are part of the Bruton and Cary Deanery in the Diocese of Bath and Wells.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

Our Benefice safeguarding officer is the Area Dean, the Rev’d Kevin Rogers, telephone 01963 363 832.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser can be contacted at [email protected] and by telephone on 01749 685 135.
