About Us

We are the Benefice of Chewton Mendip with Emborough, Ston Easton and Litton, in the Shepton Mallet Deanery.

Our three village churches are nestled in pretty villages at the bottom of the Mendip Hills in Somerset.

In May 2024 we began a journey with the Parish of Beacon Trinity, toward a new Combined Benefice with a Priest in charge and associate priest. Beacon Trinity became a single parish in 2019, joining together the parishes of St. James Ashwick, Holy Trinity Binegar and All Saints Oakhill.
