St Bartholomew, Armley

Everyone is welcome to all our services and community events at S. Bartholomew's Church, Armley, Leeds.

Please join us for our Sunday Parish Mass at 10:00 am

We also have a Said Mass on Thursdays at 10:00 am, followed by coffee or tea in church at 10:30am.

For the last two and a half years, S. Bartholomew's has been in interregnum (the post of vicar/priest-in-charge has been vacant). Thankfully, we are being admirably looked after by visiting priests at our weekly Sunday and Thursday Masses, at our special weekday services during Lent and Holy Week and at baptisms, weddings and funerals.

Church Parades, when we are joined by members of our uniformed organisations, are planned for 10th. November (Remembrance Sunday) and Christingle on 8th. December in 2024.

We urgently need your donations. Please use the purple 'Your donation is important to us' box on this homepage to make your donation.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Armley with New Wortley is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the PSO ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (see link below). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
