St Thomas the Martyr Up Holland

The Parish Church of St Thomas the Martyr, Up Holland is an ancient priory church and has served the community in this area since 1307. There are many features of historical interest and we see many people coming to visit the church all through the year.

There is a dedicated Christian community who worship within this church who seek to make this a place where everyone feels welcome and close yo God through personal prayer and worship together. It is a place where many choose to have their children baptised or to be married. Many give thanks and celebrate the life of loved ones at the funerals held here.

We look forward to welcoming you.

The parish of Up Holland and Dalton is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Liverpool’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
