St James

A small, rural church set in woodland. It dates from the 12th to 14thC. The building has an intresting circular Norman font. The pulpit is 16thC and the Screen mainly of the 19thC includes some medieval woodwork. There is a 16thC brass monument and a 17th marble monument.

The churchyard is managed as a nature reserve.

Our services are traditional and congregational.
