St John the Baptist

St John the Baptist Church, Moordown is part of the Parish of Four Saints. The Parish consists of Four churches, St John the Baptist and St Francis of Assisi (the Parish Churches), St Luke's, Winton and St Alban's, Charminster. We are a welcoming, inclusive parish with a rich variety of worship and tradition in addition to lots of activities and groups gathering during the week.

We are members of Inclusive Church (www.inclusive-church.org) and serve Fairtrade tea and coffee.

The parish of Four Saints is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
