St Peter's serves the parish of Little Budworth, a rural community in the heart of Cheshire. We are a village church with a commitment to being a place of welcome for everyone. We are part of a United Benefice with St Mary's, Whitegate, with services in both churches on most Sunday mornings. When there is a fifth Sunday we join together for a benefice service which alternates between the two parishes.
During the Covid pandemic our pattern of services was simplified and we are currently exploring what works best. We are hoping to restart our Cafe Church which sometimes happens on the first Sunday of the month. We sometimes hold services at Oulton Park Circuit.
The parish of Little Budworth: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
