St Peter, Langford Budville

Welcome to St Peter, where everyone is welcome. The Church has a medieval foundation though the remains of a Saxon cross are in the churchyard (which remains open for burials). The Church is built in red sandstone and has an impressive tower. There are good stained glass windows. The five bells in the Tower were re-hung and the tower was refurbished in the 1990's. St Peter is open to visitors everyday in daylight hours.

This Benefice takes the wellbeing and safety of the children and vulnerable adults that attend our church very seriously. If you wish to raise a Safeguarding concern, please contact Rosie Walker our Safeguarding Officer, or Lynn Lake our Benefice Safeguarding Officer on 01823 400305 or by email at: [email protected]. Alternatively, you can contact Ben Goodhind the Diocesan Safeguarding Manager on 01749 588917 and find more information on their website: https://www.bathandwells.org.uk/diocese/safeguarding/

Safeguarding

Our parish of Langford Budville is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Bath & Wells safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Rosie Walker on 07850 475691 or the Benefice Safeguarding Officer on 01823 400305. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please get in touch with the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
