Plough Sunday at the start of the year, includes prayers for farmers and the land. Traditionally it would include a blessing of the plough. The service will be followed by Plough Sunday Breakfast for those who wish at 10.45am in The Old Schoolroom, Charlton. Bacon butties, toast and marmalade, tea and coffee - suggested donation £5.00.
