Welcome to the Parish Church of St John the Evangelist, Preston, Brighton, a lively Anglican church in the suburbs of north Brighton. St John's is a welcoming, friendly, creative and outward-looking church, in a central/catholic tradition and is affiliated to the Inclusive Church network.

The church community is committed to fostering spiritual and numerical growth and to engaging more effectively with our local community.

There's a Eucharist with hymns at St John's every Sunday at 10am followed by refreshments, as well as a mid-week Eucharist on Wednesday mornings at 10am followed by Preston Coffee Pot, a community cafe.

The Easter Eucharist. All the resources of the church – music, flowers, bells, colours – are used to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. The ‘Alleluia’, which has been silent throughout Lent, returns.
