St James

Welcome to the parish of Christleton. St James' Church is at the heart of our village community and serves Littleton, Rowton, Cotton Abbotts and Cotton Edmunds as well as Christleton. We have a variety of services and styles, and are busy with many activities centered around the church and the Parish Hall, and are also busy with development plans that will help the church grow in the future. Do come along and find out what we do and what we believe.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Christleton: St James is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
