Brooksby: St Michael & All Angels
St Michael & All Angels Church is normally open for private prayer and reflection on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The church is a popular venue for weddings, often followed by a reception in Brooksby Hall. Sometimes civil wedding ceremonies in Brooksby Hall are followed by a service of wedding blessing in the Church.
Please address any questions about weddings in the church to Canon Vic Allsop, administrator, by email: [email protected]
Brooksby is part of the Parish of the Upper Wreake consisting of Frisby on the Wreake, Kirby Bellars, Hoby, Rotherby, Ragdale and Brooksby. Shared services in 1 or 2 of the villages are held each week and everyone is welcome.

Safeguarding
Our Parish of Upper Wreake is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have concerns about a child, young person or an adult who may have been harmed or be at risk of harm, please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser for advice and support: Rachael Spiers on [email protected] or 0793 081 9279. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
